Sounds like a good idea to me. But then again, each MOA? show is effectively
a little MOA? fan convention. A convention near the ASTRO-labs with guided
tours of the labs themselves would be cool. However, "ASTRO-labs" is probably
just Coco's garage, so a tour might be kind of impractical.

I don't do fan conventions much, so the the main model I'm working from is
the MST3K Conventio-Cons, which I understand are a lot more "folksy" than
most conventions. One idea that I would like to pursue is to have MOA?
and/or Servotron be the House Band at the next MST3K Conventio-Con costume
ball. The MST3K convention could then also be used as a gathering place for
MOA? fans. We could even have our own meeting room and activites like some
of the MST3K fan sub-groups had at the last Con.

I realize that not all MOA? fans are MST3K fans, but I'll bet a whole lot of
them are. The main problem will probably be with Starcrunch because the
rumor is that he won't sing the Love Theme anymore because Joel left the
show. I think we should ask him to tolerate some change in MST3K since we
are all being such good sports about changes in the MOA? sound.

I can try to get this idea communicated to the folks at Best Brains, in case
they're starting to plan their next Con. Better still, anybody and everybody
on this list who likes the idea should write to BBI about it. The fanclub
mailing address is somewhere on their site (http://www.scifi.com/mst3000).
