Ok, _one_ of my cat horror stories:  When I was about 16 my cat chewed up,
and probably ate portions of, my first 8mm clay animation short feature.
Since the print and the "negative" are actually the same physical piece
of film in 8mm, that was a totall loss of many painstaking hours of
animation.

Beleive it or not, I didn't kill the cat.  A while later to poor little
thing drank water off of the kitchen floor that had leaked out of the
dishwasher.  The dishwasher soap killed her.  So please keep your 
kitties away from soapy water!
