I remember watching that show, too. It shows up every now and then
in re-runs. I concurr that "Squad Car" (Track 7 on "What Remains
Inside A Black Hole") and "Man From U.N.C.L.E." (Track 10 on "Project
Infinity") are two entirely different songs.

However, "Man From U.N.C.L.E." (Track 10 on "Project Infinity") and
"Man From F.U.C.K. Y.O.U." (Track 15 on "Live Transmissions From
Uranus") are two different performances of the same song.

Likewise, "Squad Car" (Track 7 on "What Remains Inside A Black Hole")
and "Space Patrol" (Track 7 on "Your Weight On The Moon") are two
different performances of the same song.

I also concurr that neither is an MOA? original composition.
"Man From..." is correctly credited to the tv/film composer Jerry
Goldsmith on the "Project..." sleeve. "Squad Car" is credited to
"Johnson; Liberty 55608" on the "What Remains..." sleeve.
Shamefully enough, although another track ("Destination Venus") is
credited as a cover on the "Your Weight..." sleeve, "Squad Car" is
incorrectly presented as a MOA? original, when the only way in which
it differs from "Squad Car" is echo on the siren sound effect.
I'm sure this was an un-intended mistake. The notes on the
CD packaging for "Live Transmissions..." are full of mistakes
and omissions, including credit for the cover songs and any
mention of the participation of Starcrunch. I don't have the
LP version for comparison.

Old enough to be your Dad or one of his brothers,

Mookie

P.S. I didn't bother researching appearances of these tracks on
singles.
