Here in Portland OR, there is a Halloween party, although I think
it might be a day or two before Halloween, featuring EBN (Emergency
Broadcast Network).

For those of you who have not heard of them, EBN would probably appeal
to fans of ORI or Negativland.  You can think of EBN as ORI and
Negativland with a big dose of quasi-rap and quasi-hip-hop.  So, it's
creative stuff with lots of interesting samples within a somewhat
conventional pop framework.

Last Halloween in PDX was totally awesome.  MOA?, complete with
Starcrunch and Dexter-X played here, came onstage wrapped in toilet
paper and called themselves "The Mummies".  It was a great show
and the last time I saw them with Starcrunch and Dexter.  I even
scored a super spiffy poster for the show from a music store.

Personally, I'm not much of a big fan of the Halloween holiday.
I totally get into Christmas, however, commercialism and all.
Gotta love those Rankin-Bass stop-motion animated specials.
