I was, likewise, hooked instantly.  After my first exposure I snatched up
everything I could find, my enthusiasim growing with each new listen. 
However, it wasn't the full blown brainwashed devotion that it is today 
until the first time I saw them live.

Well, I think the key for the tough sells is going to have to be a live show.
If _that_ doesn't do it, then they are beyond hope.  My first exposure, as
mentioned before, was "Destroy..." given to me by a friend who didn't like
it.  I dragged him along to a live ASTRO-show, and now he's rapidly becoming
an ASTRO-devo-tee as well.  He has since attended Servotron and ASTRO-Clone
shows with me, and is actually buying product!

Another bit of advice.  A lot of people find Servotron to be more immediately
'accessible', since it more closely resembles 'pop' music as we know it 
(no offense, cyborgs).  This, in turn, can become a conduit to appreciation
for MOA?.  Although they are different bands with different styles of music,
they are closely related in other ways.  For example, both put on a high
energy show which is just as much a sci-fi/comedy event as it is a concert.
And they both have totally kickass drummers (funny how they kind of look like
the same guy, huh?).
