What's new at ASR3K

1998.12.08 Welcome to my first annual website update! I hope I never ever ever go this long without an update again! I'm so very sorry MOA? and MST3K fans. What's changed? Nothing except this note, the animated snow background (temporary, for the holidaze, stole it from hotbot.com) and removal of the ASR3K animated tesla planetoid (to reduce number of animated things on the page at once). What the heck have I been doing that was so darned important that I couldn't take time to work on my site? Heck if I know. I've been pretty busy at work and my whole family has been spending a lot of time in hospitals and clinics this year. I'm taking two weeks of vacation at the end of the month, and I'm not going anywhere. I promise a significantly updated site with a new look for 1999. There will be at least the beginnings of new pages for Servotron and O.R.I. as well.

1997.12.08 Finally, ASTROMUMMIES page about the MOA? Halloween concert is up. ASTROMUMMY video snaps up as well, all 72 of them! Viddy them while you can; I'm waaaay over my webspace limit now! Original author of Servorama background image has been identified and credited. Improved title graphic for MOA? section of 3D pages. Removed local copies of MP3 players. Due to the storage requirements of these pages, I will probably be converting to a "magazine" format with rotating content sometime soon.

1997.11.17 BBI Studio Tour 1996 added. Finally some new MST3K content on this site! Also upgraded the title graphic on SERV-O-RAMA. Sorry about the incomplete captioning on the BBI photos. I'm still working on that.

1997.11.12 new and improved Amazing Thrills in 3D with all new graphics and many new 3D photos. Photos are now jpeg instead of gif to save on disc space and hopefully speed up loading. Includes 3D photos of MOA? as "The Mummies" live on Halloween night 1997.

1997.11.03 new main asr3k page title graphic (I've been messing with POV-ray and Adobe PhotoDeluxe). Sorry if this one loads slower. Also increased the font size on this About ASR3K page to make it more readable. Coming soon: MOA? Halloween concert review/snaps/3D.

1997.10.22 changed title graphic for Amazing Thrills in 3D. My first attempt at a transparent animated anaglyph. Pretty bad ghosting, but a neat effect in combination with the background image.

1997.10.20 Added Amazing Thrills in 3D to MOA? section, featuring anaglyphs of stereo photographs of live appearances by MOA?/SRA/ORI.

1997.09.15 Added the ASR3K Records Virtual 7" Single. Check it out while you can, it may not be here for long.

1997.09.10 Slightly improved version of Coco/Marsface morph animation. Stay tuned, really cool stuff coming in just a few more days.

1997.09.07: Woo Hoo! I finally updated the page... a little. Added is Coco's face on Mars. Gone are the temporary covers pages, which were up much longer than I intended anyway. Minor tweaks, including putting "Wayward Meteor" where it belongs in the "Zorlak Pit" setlist.

1997.06.19: New version of electric planetoid animated gif on main page, no longer potential infringement of BBI copyright or trademark, also only two frames so it loads a little faster. This "What's New" section replaces clutter on the main page. Various minor tweaks and corrections.

Changes uploaded on 1997.06.06: NEW 1994 Best Brains Studio Tour page!

Changes uploaded on or before 1997.06.05: Temporary MOAM covers pages added. LIVE video snaps re-organized for more incremental, thus subjectively faster, loading. Minor tweaks/fixes to 1000X and MST3K Artifacts pages.

Changes uploaded on 1997.05.27: New LIVE video snaps page, more additions/improvements to A Haircut in the Zorlock Pit.

Changes made on 1997.05.12: New Tesla Coil page, new navigation buttons throughout, additions to A Haircut in the Zorlock Pit.
